Oaxaca - Puerto Escondido
Its cultural, artistic and gastronomic heritage makes the city of Oaxaca de Juárez, in the state of the same name, one of Mexico’s main tourist destinations. The merchants, popularly called marchantes, roam the area with baskets full of quesillo, chapulines, peppers and tortillas to complete the culinary feast. Nearby is the Benito-Juárez market, where you can find dozens of local handicrafts such as alebrijes, embroidery, pillows and even mezcals from Oaxaca at very good prices.
