Look at a map to determine the exact location of the hotel.
Travel is all about location, location, location, and if you don’t know where your hotel is in relation to your destination in the city, you won’t be happy when you arrive. Don’t rely on the hotel’s location description alone.
They often say things like «The Louvre and the Eiffel Tower are within walking distance of our hotel.» Many people assume this means that the attractions are within walking distance, but what the hotel may be saying is that you can «easily» walk to a metro stop 15 minutes from the hotel, and then «easily» take a 20 minute drive to a nearby station. these attractions. Before booking your hotel, look at a map to see where it is located. Make a note of how long it will take you to walk to attractions, restaurants, stores and other points of interest. If nothing is accessible on foot, where is the subway or bus stop? Are there only two restaurants on the surrounding streets? To make it easier, search for a hotel at Aerotucan.com.mx .
Not only do we show you a map with the hotel’s location, but we also give you an honest estimate of the distances from the hotel to the main tourist attractions, restaurants and shops on foot or by car. We also rate the location on safety, type of neighbourhood (business, residential, historic, etc.) and general atmosphere.
Find out when rooms and public areas were last updated.
Travellers often expect hotels to provide them with clean and modern accommodation, and all too often this is not the case. Before booking, check when the entire accommodation was last updated. Remember that a hotel photo can lie. We take this very seriously, so we send photographers to honestly capture what the hotel has to offer. We even show comparisons of our photos with marketing photos.
If the hotel has been upgraded or renovated within the last four years, you can expect a clean and well-maintained interior – nobody wants to see dirt in the shower or peeling wallpaper! Between four and six years, everything starts to look dated, and above six years, you should not be happy. Don’t just look at the furnishings when you ask when the hotel was renovated. You should also know when the mattresses were replaced, so you don’t have to sleep on a saggy, feather-filled bed.
